About this one page website

Simple one page ‘folio by Geoff Hill for his design company ‘Good Design Works’. Really like the animated cog icons and vintage feel, and the responsive layout looks great on mobile!

I wanted to create an original one page website that would tie in with my company’s vintage styling. Retro icons and cogs feature heavily and the fixed background will be changed on a regular basis to create an ever evolving fresh look. The main challenge was finding the balance between the amount of content that I wanted to display and the effects that make a website more interesting and dynamic. CSS3 and jQuery have been used to create subtle animations that provide elements of movement without bombarding the user and detracting from the content. This website is fully responsive over all screen sizes and devices. It’s been great fun to create and I hope you like it!
